We are delighted to announce that Creggan, a brand new holiday cottage will be available for letting for early Summer 2017 onwards.  The design, by award winning architects Dualchas is a contemporary take on the traditional Scottish cottage.

The simple, clean lines of the house from the Causar Lane, only hint at what lies beyond through one full height window.  Only once you have entered the house do you fully appreciate the fantastic setting on top of the riverbank, the full southerly facing aspect and stunning views to fields, forest and river.

The main feature of the open plan living / dining / kitchen is a 7 metre wide door (see photos below) which opens onto the principle, private south facing patio.  The walls of the entire house have been built a foot higher than standard to give it a light, airy feel and the living / dining area also has an open ceiling with exposed beams.

The entire sooth facing elevation of the three bedrooms benefit from full height glazing, each with a door onto a south facing sun terrace (doors have child locks).  The master bedroom (with ensuite) benefits from a second, full height window facing east onto the stunning morning patio which sits below a pine tree.

There is a further large family shower room, full utility room with washer and dryer and the house also benefits from underfloor hearing throughout via an air source heat pump and a log burning stove.
